Hop Into Fun at The Zanesville First Church of God Eggstravaganza

ZANESVILLE, OH – Mark your calendars and get your baskets ready, kids! The Zanesville First Church of God is hosting its annual Eggstravaganza this weekend.

Set for Saturday, March 30th, children 12 and under can participate in an egg hunting adventure with more than 12,000 eggs scattered around the church’s property. Those Easter eggs are filled with candy or vouchers to redeem prizes like bikes and toys.

“We are excited about being able to open this up to the community and see all the kids. They have a marvelous time, them and their parents. There’s a multiplicity of all kinds of toys for us to give away on that day.” Pastor Jim Childers said.

All the fun will start at 11:30 AM and last until 1:30 PM. Lunches will be available for everyone who attends. After the egg hunt, they’ll gather in the sanctuary for a reading of the Easter Story.

“The joy and the smiles and the love that we can see through all the kids and the families. Our hope is to plant a seed or water a seed that’s been planted before, and we know that God gives the increase.” Pastor Childers said.

To join the fun, all kids must register for the hunt when they arrive. The First Church of God is located at 1930 Newark Road in Zanesville.
