House Fire Near Dillon Displaces Family of Five
NASHPORT, Ohio — Five members of a family are being helped by the American Red Cross after fire overtook part of their home near Nashport Wednesday afternoon.
The Falls Township Fire Dept. responded to the home at 6305 Vroom Rd. east of St. Rt. 146 near Dillon Lake.
“Had fire blowing out of the kitchen window, crews made an interior attack. Fire is knocked down, no injuries reported. We got the Red Cross contacted to get them put up,” says Falls Twp. Asst. Fire Chief Joe Hunt.
Falls called for mutual aid assistance from Licking Twp.
No injuries were reported as a result of that fire.
