Housing Authority Investigated

Authorities in Coshocton County execute a search warrant at Coshocton Metropolitan Housing.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said a long term joint investigation with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office led to the Aug. 28 warrant at the housing authority on Magnolia Street and a home in the 300 block of N. 4th St. in Coshocton.

Authorities said the case involves the misappropriation of government funds.

The case remains under investigation.
