Muskingum Recreation Center receives state recognition

ZANESVILLE, OHIO- One area business received recognition for their efforts within the community from Jon Husted, Ohio Secretary of State.

The Muskingum Recreation Center has been recognized as a featured business of the month as a part of the Secretary of State’s “Ohio Business Profile” initiative.

Beth Chapman, Executive Director, Muskingum Recreation Center, said that it’s a great honor to receive this type of recognition.

“Being in Zanesville, we’re recognized as one of the communities in Ohio,” said Chapman.  “It’s a great honor to say that the Secretary of State recognizes the Muskingum Recreation Center in Zanesville and our community.”

Chapman said that the Muskingum Recreation Center has been built upon the community and the communities values.

“This accommodation and proclamation is a wonderful step to show that the hard work to get this facility to reality.” Chapman said that this really attests to its employees at the rec center.  “It really holds for our future and we provide great quality programs and our staffs very excited about this.”
