I-77 Northbound Closed — UPDATED — REOPENS

The Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that I-77 closed Wednesday night due to several accidents was re-opened at 1:00 am Thursday. ****UPDATED

As of 10:45 p.m. the Ohio Department of Transportation says the southbound lanes of Interstate 77 in Guernsey County have re-opened.

Spokeswoman Kate Stickle says an accident occurred on I-77 between Cambridge and Byesville.

Northbound lanes are still closed and traffic is to take Exit 41 to State Route 209 West to Interstate 70.
