Injury Accident on State Street

The Zanesville Police Department responded to an injury accident around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon. 

According to the ZPD multiple people have been transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment after an apparent head on collision. A green Trailblazer and a black Equinox were the only cars involved in the accident at the intersection of State and Jackson Streets. The driver and passenger of the Trailblazer were standing by their car after being evaluated by emergency responders. The Zanesville Fire Department, Genesis Community Ambulance and the Zanesville Police Department responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
