Inmate on the Run

The Zanesville Police are looking for an inmate who escaped from work detail Tuesday afternoon.

Lt. Bill Shaw says around 2pm, 22-year-old Eric M. Harris was picking up litter when someone in an older red car pulled up and Harris jumped in.

Harris is described as a 5’7, 140lbs, African American male with a full beard and tatoos on each side of his neck. He was in jail for domestic violence.
