Intel Receives Federal Subsidies

Licking Co.- $8.5 billion in federal subsidies are coming to Intel.

The company announced another $11 billion in loans is also available through the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors in America Act for multiple projects across the country, including its new manufacturing facility in Licking County.

Intel is investing $20 billion into Ohio for its expansion, which was announced in January 2022. The new facility is expected to create 3,000 manufacturing jobs, 7,000 construction jobs and thousands more indirect jobs in Ohio.
