Irma Smith

Irma Jean Smith, 72, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born February 10, 1953, in Zanesville to the late William and Mary Fritz Rockwell. She enjoyed playing Bingo and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was always there for her family.

She is survived by her daughter: Misty Smith; her son Alan (Shawna) Smith; grandchildren: Alicia (Xack) Haines, Amber (Greg) Stiers, Alaina (Justin) Holman and Colton (Chelsie) Smith; great grandchildren: Laythan Show, Brieah Show, Alayah Haines, Ainsley Haines, Nova Stiers, Winston Stiers, Sophia Bowen, Carter Holman, Rhett Smith, Kensley Smith and Riverlyn Smith; and four sisters: Barbara Sexton, Dolly Gregorich, Mary Grandstaff and Linda Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Smith, and her brother William Rockwell Jr.

Visitation will be held from 11AM to 1PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral service will begin at 1PM with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
