It’s Chamber of Commerce Week in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE-Ohio- Monday marks the beginning of chamber of commerce week in Muskingum County.

In honor of chamber of commerce week, the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber is offering some neat incentives.

“Businesses that have always been interested in joining the chamber, if they join now we’ll give them the rest of this year and all of next year for the regular price,” Chamber of Commerce, President Dana Matz said. “They will get 15 months for the price of 12. We are going to introduce the ambassadors club. What they do is they help represent the chamber, its a way for them to become more involved.”

Matz said in 1905 area business men gathered together and formed the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce. And since the 1900’s Matz said the chamber has been in business to help businesses.

“We help businesses with cost saving programs. We do economic development. We do marketing. We do many things to help businesses strengthen and grow their business and in turn strengthen and grow the community,” Matz said.
