James Dailey
James Lenard Dailey, 63, of Nashport, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. James was born on January 31, 1960, to Delorise (Diebel) and Lenard Dailey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Dailey and Forest Dailey.
James leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Janet Dailey; children, James Dailey, Jason Dailey, Curtis Dailey, Matthew (Brittany) Glaub and Zachary (Brookelyn) Martin; grandchildren, Lexi, Kiley and Bristol; ex-wife, Pam; uncle, Rick Diebel and his dog, Rolo; as well as several other friends and family.
James was an avid fisherman who loved to be on the Muskingum River when he could. He enjoyed watching and cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes. James started welding at the young age of 17 years old and made a career of it. Taking pride in his work, he has helped several other people strive in the industry. He was one of the hardest workers his family knew and never missed a day of work. James will be missed by all that knew him.
Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed. The family will have a memorial service in his honor at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
