James Flanagan

James Flanagan Sr., 80, of Cambridge, passed Friday, July 10, 2026, at his home.

He was born on Wednesday, March 20, 1946, in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, the son of John Walton Flanagan and Sarah Hester Warren Flanagan.

James enjoyed softball, bowling and all Philadelphia Sports Teams.

He is survived by his five children, James (Beatriz) Flanagan Jr., Heather (Scott) Oberg, Shawn (Ashlee) Flanagan, Kelly (Aaron) Snell and Kyle Flanagan; eleven grandchildren, Marissa, Kiara, Tristan, Curran, Zach, Kyla, Landen, Lyla, Isaiah, Eian and Bryn; four siblings, Robert Flanagan, Barbara Flanagan Plantz, Ralph Flanagan and Virginia Flanagan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by six siblings, Elwood Whilden, John Whilden, Sarah Flanagan Smith, Tommy, Flanagan, Joe Flanagan and Billy Flanagan.

At this time no services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
