James Haught

James Louis Haught, 63, of Byesville, passed away Monday (May 6, 2024) at his home.

He was born June 14, 1960 in Cambridge, son of Sonia (Burke) Haught and the late James W. Haught.

A graduate of Meadowbrook High School, James had worked for Shield Alloy for many years. Later, he worked at Ables until he retired in 2022.

He was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Haught; his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Haught; his maternal grandfather, Louis Burke; and his maternal grandmother, Clarissa Greenhalgh.

James is survived by his mother, Sonia Haught; his children, Amber Haught, Aaron J. (& Christine) Haught, and Jamie Mourer; a grandson, Jamison Wiley; four granddaughters, Madison Wiley, Alason Wiley, Micah Haught, and Marley Haught; two brothers, Joe Haught and Jeff Haught; four sisters, Judy (& Bill) McPeek, Janie (& Corey) Jackson, Jackie Haught, and Jennifer (& Tim) Ferguson; and many nieces, nephews, & dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday (May 10, 2024) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.
