James “Jim” E. McGreevy

James “Jim” E. McGreevy, age 80 of Nashport, died 11:50 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Altercare in Zanesville, OH.

He was born Friday, July 4, 1941, in Junction City, the son of Robert J. McGreevy and Betty J. (Hardy) McGreevy. He was married on October 10, 1975 to Marguerite E. (Kelso) McGreevy who survives.

He was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ, and served in the United States Army National Guard retiring after 30 plus years.

Jim is survived by his wife of the home: Marguerite; three children: Dennis (Laura) McGreevy, Cheryl (Todd) Hina and Brian (Audra) McGreevy; five grandchildren: Jasmine Hina, Tod Hina, Madi, Jax and Ari McGreevy; three great grandchildren; one brother: Robert (Diane) McGreevy.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 11 AM to 1 PM, on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where services will be held at 1 PM with Rev. Dr. Herbert Hicks officiating.
