James Law

James B. Law Jr., age 56, of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away on 6/30/2026.
He was born on July 13, 1969, to the late James B. Law Sr. and Shelby Jean Law. He spent his life building a beautiful home and family. Above all else, James loved his wife, Rose, his children, and his grandchildren. They were his greatest pride and joy. Those who knew JB best will remember his wonderful passions. He was a deeply creative spirit who loved to write and record music. He spent many happy hours creating songs and capturing melodies. When he wasn’t making music, he could often be found outdoors with a fishing pole in his hand, enjoying the quiet of the water. He was a talented wrestler in his younger years and remained an avid fan who never missed a chance to follow his favorite matches. His unique hobbies, strength, and loving heart brought so much joy to the people around him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Law; his children, Kayla (Michael) Jamiel, Billy Law, and Brandyn Law; Jaiden Wheeler, whom he loved and helped raise; and his cherished grandchildren, Katelyn, Kyleigh, Ava, and Carter. He is also survived by his brother, Jesse Law; his sister, Lori Price; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. Law Sr. and Shelby Jean Law. Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of comfort and remembrance.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2026 at Bonnell Cremations Funerals Receptions. Private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family or to the funeral home to help cover service expenses.
