Jammin on the Canal returns this Saturday at Dutro’s

ZANESVILL, Ohio – As summer is starting to wind down, an annual tradition is slated to return to Zanesville on the canal.

Dutro Ford Lincoln Nissan on South Fifth Street is hosting “Jammin on the Canal” this Saturday evening at 5. This will be the fourth time Dutro has hosted this event to bring together the community and share their appreciation.

“Here at Dutro’s we just love our community. We’ve been very fortunate from the support that the community has given us over many, many of years and any time we get a chance to sponsor an event or host an event we jump on it and it’s just, again, its a great time to have people to come downtown Zanesville and have a good time,”  said Brian Cartwright, general manager at Dutro’s.

The event will feature a beer garden, several food trucks, and a band named Zack Attack which takes the stage at 6:30. On top of all that there will be a Touch-a-Car Giveaway where one lucky winner will walk away with a new car.

“They’ll be having their hand on the car. We’re giving away a Nissan. Last man standing so that will be going on the whole time. It does actually start Friday evening at 7 p.m. and then the ‘Jammin on the Canal’ starts at 5 p.m.,” said Dave Caldwell, Used Car Manager at Dutro’s. “So once again, bring your chairs, your appetite, have fun, it should be great. We’ve had a great time. Zach Attack is very entertaining. So everyone should have. Everyone should have a great time.”
