Jane E. Richardson (February 24, 1916 – April 22, 2012)
Jane E. Richardson, 96 of Zanesville passed away at 5 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2012.
She was born in Zanesville on February 24, 1916 to the late Bert J. Appleman and Martha Spence Appleman. She was a legal Secretary at the Dayton City Prosecutors office; a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Concordia Chapter of the Eastern Star #493 in New Concord, Ohio.
She is survived by her niece Sandra (and the late Larry) Holsky, nephew Fred (Christy) Schneider, Niece Patricia (and the late Tom) Hicky and Nephew John Richardson, and several great-nieces, great-nephews Cousin; Gary (Joyce) Appleman, Sister-in-law Sunday Richardson and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her husband John L. Richardson who died on June 5, 1987, sister Marguerite (Gus) Schneider.
The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME 2318 Maple Ave. where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 2 PM with Rev. Mark Matzke officiating, interment will follow at New Concord Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Jane’s memory may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care or Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Preschool.
