Jerry Joseph Hendershot II (August 19, 1970 – November 7, 2011)

Jerry Joseph Hendershot II, 41, of Nashport, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011.
He was born on August 19, 1970 in Zanesville to Jerry Joseph and Brenda Olden Hendershot of Dresden. Jerry was a basket maker at Longaberger Basket Company. Jerry had a passion for the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing football with his son. He belonged to the National Wild Turkey Federation, National Rifle Association, and Wheelin Sportsman, where he would dedicate his time in the spring to take handicapped hunters turkey hunting.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his Wife Holly Wain Hendershot of the home, a son Tyler Joseph Hendershot of the home, two Brothers Michael Shane (Kathie) Hendershot of Zanesville and Chad Hendershot of Nashport, a Sister Lisa (Jason) Green of Trinway, Father and Mother-in-law : Terry (Sally) Wain of Ravenna, two Brother-in-laws: Matthew (Dianna) Wain of Grove City and Terry Lee (Trisha) Wain of Kent, a Sister-in-law: Megan Wain of Kent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Sister-in-law: Mindy Hendershot.

Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday, November 10 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD. Funeral services will be at 1pm on Friday with visitation beginning at noon in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor John Sensabaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
