Jerry Warner

Jerry A. Warner age 67, of Byesville, OH passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Ohio Health Southeastern Med Hospital in Cambridge, OH. He was born October 6, 1956 in Caldwell, OH a son of the late Grant “Shorty” Warner and Ruth Oliver Warner.
He had a passion for cars whether it be working on them or driving them fast. Jerry was a devoted member of the Byesville McDonald’s Coffee Club, where he never missed a day. He retired from the Centria Manufacturing Plant in Cambridge, OH with over 30 years of service. Jerry’s biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 6 brothers David Warner, Donald “Duck” (Linda) Warner, George “Frosty” (Linda) Warner, James C. “Peanut” (Marilyn) Warner, Walter Warner, and Leonard “Lum” Warner; sister Alice Warner; sister-in-law Melody Warner; brother-in-law Jim Leonard; father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Lynn Delik; brother-in-law Skip Traxler.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Jo Delik Warner, whom he married December 24, 1987; 2 sons Fred “Buddy” (Tricia) Ginn of Byesville and Brett (April) Ginn of Thornville, OH; grandchildren Luke and Lillian Ginn, Kaitlyn (Zach) Hazinakis; great-grandchild Raelyn Jo Hazinakis; 6 brothers William “Blackie” (Linda) Warner of Summerfield, OH, Frank (Jane) Warner of Summerfield, Ronnie (Marj) Warner of Byesville, OH, Clarence (Becky) Warner of Buffalo, OH, Fred (Jennifer) Warner of Delaware, OH, and Rick Warner of Caldwell; 2 sisters Barbara Leonard of Summerfield and Joan Yokum of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law Debbie Warner, Pam Traxler and Lisa (John) Mallett; brother-in-law Joe (Shelly) Delik; special friends Ed and Sue Ann Mallernee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cremation will be observed. The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a memorial service concluding visitation at 12:00 PM at the Ninth Street United Methodist Church, 129 North Ninth Street, Cambridge, OH, 43725, with Pastor Nancy Parsons officiating.
