Jesse Stouder

Jesse Charles Stouder, 70 of Nashport passed away Thursday May 23, 2024 at Genesis Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born January 16, 1954 in Zanesville a son of the late Donald and Helen Freeman Stouder.
Throughout his working years he worked at Tansky’s, Gibson Lincoln Mercury, Longaberger and for the last several years McMillen Tire Shop. Jesse also detailed cars for many years and still had many long-standing customers. He was meticulous with his work and was highly regarded with the care and attention he gave to a “Clean Car”, taking great pride in everything he did.
Jesse was a Ford enthusiast through and through. Over the years he had many Fords and was particularly fond of the Mustang. A lover of cars and car shows, Jesse was involved in several car clubs and shows throughout the area. He enjoyed collecting Ford signs and die cast models.
Jesse never met a stranger and once he met you, you were a friend for life. Jesse had so many friends that it would be too difficult to name them all. He and his wife were very close with the staff at Texas Roadhouse in Newark and Zanesville and considered them family. At the age of 16 a friendship started that lasted a lifetime, with his good friend Jeff McMillen, a friendship that he cherished greatly.
Jesse is survived by the love of his life Beverly Snider Stouder whom he married on June 25, 1976; several stepbrothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Jesse’s life will be held on Wednesday June 5, 2024 in the Snouffer Chapel with Chaplain Rob Morris officiating. Friends may call from 4pm until time of service at 6pm.
