Joanna Baldwin

Joanna M. Baldwin, 68 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday January 21, 2025.
She was born on March 18, 1956, in Richmond, Virginia, daughter of the late Franz Dejong and Gloria (Miller) Dejong. Joanna worked several years as a caretaker for Zandex Health Care and the Abbott Home. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Zanesville for many years. She loved cooking, fishing, gardening, and bird watching. Above all she loved making phone calls and spending time with her family and loved ones.
Joanna is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Dennis Baldwin; 6 children: Raymond (Kristal) White, Nicole (James Jr.) Fortune, Vincent White, Michelle Baldwin, Dennis Baldwin Jr., Tara (Brian) Wells; grandchildren, Thomas Russell, Amanda White, Tabitha White, Katie White, Sheldon White, Nichelle Montaque, Adrian Montaque, Quentin Fortune, Madison Fortune, Carter Peck, Abbey Wells, Allie Wells, Hannah (Ethan) Bolling, Kaylee White, Mason Mullins; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, David Dejong, Franz Dejong; sister, Gloria Winston; nieces, Amie Winston, Sierra Coles, Selah Dejong; nephew, David Dejong Jr.; special friend, Janice Wilson, Debbie Ford, Mike Wyatt; and many other friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Franz Dejong and Gloria (Miller) Dejong.
Per Joanna’s wishes, a dignified cremation will take place at this time.
