Job Fair for Businesses in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Chamber of Commerce is co-hosting a Job Fair on Tuesday, October 23rd.

They will be hosting alongside OhioMeansJobs, the Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association, WHIZ Media Group and WYBZ 107.3 Radio. The fair will be at Colony Square Mall from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

“As a State right now we’re very fortunate that we have low unemployment but there’s always young folks coming out of school, people that have transitioned from other jobs looking for opportunities, we actually talked to a retired person over the weekend they said, “You know i’m bored being retired, I’m looking for a part-time job.” This job fair should be all things to all people.”

There will be businesses that are hiring for jobs in Muskingum County set up and they will be offering entry level to medium level positions. Matz said people should come prepared and ready to fill out applications and possibly have an interview.

“Be prepared to be interviewed. So come with your professional attire, come with your resumes. If you don’t have the resume or those things in advance make sure you reach out to OhioMeansJobs,” Matz said. “They’re located at Woodlawn Avenue. You can also go online to OhioMeansJobs and do some work that way.”
