Jocko’s Tavern Business Anniversary

One local business is celebrating nearly five-decades of being in business.

Jocko’s Tavern 49th anniversary was Saturday and they decided to invite the entire community out for a day of live music, that some may refer to as Jocko’s jam. The party wasn’t just inside of Jocko’s Tavern. There also were folks enjoying the outdoor, spring-like temperatures as well. Quinn told us that they couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate with the warm weather.

“The big plan is for next years 50th anniversary of course. I don’t think we necessary expected so many musicians to come volunteer to play. It’s going to be a challenge to make it an even better anniversary next year. But, Jocko’s already told us we’re going to do it, so stay tuned for next year because, it’s going to be epic,” said Paul Quinn.

If you missed the party yesterday you can still stop in and celebrate at the Tavern, they are open each day except Sundays from 9 p.m until 2 a.m.
