Joey Pennybaker Osborn Is The 2016 Brian Wagner Leadership Award Recipient

 

Joey Pennybaker Osborn has been named the recipient of the 2016 Brian T. Wagner Community Leadership Award.

The Muskingum County Community Foundation (MCCF) Council created the award in 2005 to honor volunteer leaders between the age of 18 and 55 and encourage other young adults to help improve Muskingum County.

Osborn graduated from Philo High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Denison University and master’s degree from Muskingum University. She has spent a lot of time working with non-profit organizations over the Muskingum County area, including MCCF and Eastside Community Ministry.

She also serves on the Zanesville City Council as an at-large representative since graduating from college.

Osborn is a 2003 graduate of the Leadership Muskingum and a 2010 graduate of the JoAnn Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute. She volunteers for Muskingum County 4-H, Zanesville Daybreak Rotary, MCCF, the Women of Achievement Steering Committee, and many other organizations.

The award will be presented on Friday, January 29th, 2016, at the Ohio University Zanesville/Zane State College Campus Center during MCCF’s 31st Annual Groundhog Day anniversary celebration.
