John Glenn Astronomy Park to Open in June
The John Glenn Astronomy Park is scheduled to open in June. It will be located in the Hocking Hills State Park. The celebration will kick off June 21st at 6:30 p.m. and run until just after sunset. John Glenn, a New Concord native, agreed to lend his name to the park, giving his blessing shortly before passing away on December 8th, 2016. The Friends of Hocking Hills State Park led fundraising and development of the park.
