John Glenn Softball is Ready to Make Another State Run

NEW CONCORD, OH- The John Glenn Softball team is ready to make some noise this spring and they have been preparing since the beginning of the year.
After making it all the way to the State Semi-final game last year, the girls know what it takes to make that deep push in the playoffs.
The Muskies only lost one senior from last years team and are now lead by three seniors this year, outfielder Sydney Johnson, outfielder Brynna Wolford, and second baseman Abby Buchtel.
With all the talent they have brought back they all believe that this year they can win it all.
“I think the biggest strength of this team is honestly our offense our offense when we’re on we really do really well we have a lot of solid hitters and I really don’t think there’s a weakness in our lineup last year there wasn’t and this year I don’t there is as well and also on defense when we stay solid it’s one of our biggest strengths when we cut down on the errors it’s obviously going to go great for us”
“I definitely think we have state potential I mean we only graduated one and we have a young group we have a lot like us three seniors have started since we were freshman so we have the experience and then we have some younger girls that started as freshman that are now sophomores and juniors and so I think we actually have the experience even though we’re young and I think we have the potential to go back to states and possibly win the league again”.
