John McIntire Library showcases technology advancements

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local library has made recent advancements in their technology systems.

The John McIntire Library is now offering a new selection of digital printing and scanning systems that are easily accessible.

“New this year we have wireless printing that we have where people can bring in their personal devices such as cell phones, tablets, even their laptops and they can print directly from those devices. We’ve always offered the printing services but you’ve had to use our computers so now people can use their own devices,” said I.T. Director, Joe Dusenbery.

Dusenbery said the library is more than just a building with books. It is an experience where people can not only grab a book from the shelves, but also use technology to fully immerse themselves in the story.

“We’re always striving to increase the technology that we have here and that we offer here that’s something we pride ourselves on. We’re not all just books on the shelves these days. Everybody needs technology skills these days and we’re doing our best to try and offer as much as we can to all of our patrons,” said Dusenbery.
