John Waddle

John Alfred Waddle, age 93, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026. He was born on March 24, 1933 to the late William W. Waddle and Clarice M. (Bailey) Waddle in Magnet, Indiana.

John work for NCR in Production Control for many years. He also proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. In his free time, John enjoyed a variety of activities including, but not limited to, fishing, golfing, bowling, gardening, playing cards and woodworking. He also enjoyed traveling and camping all over the United States, managing to camp in all but 2 of the states.

John was a good, strong man and was deeply loved by all those who met him. He loved his family and cherished his children and grandchildren.

John is survived by his daughters, Sherri (Paul Fitzpatrick) Waddle and Latricia Van Dyne; grandchildren, Breanna (Stephen Salter) Waddle, Andrew Gilbert, Garret Rogan, and Bret Rogan; and sister, Cayolyn Robbins.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Waddle; sister, Helen Caldwell; and brothers, William Waddle and Floyd Waddle.

Per John’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
