Join Trulight Ministries “One Night in A Box” Upcoming Fundraiser

ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready for a night of giving back and raising awareness!

Trulight Ministries is hosting their “One Night in a Box” fundraiser on August 16th.This special event invites you to spend a night sleeping in a tent or box, whether at their designated location or your own backyard. The fundraiser will start at 7 PM and goes until 7 AM. Those who make it until 7 AM will be treated to a free breakfast.

“It gives people an opportunity to come out and experience what it would be like to be homeless. Even if it’s just one night. But to come out and to experience the struggles. Sleep at night out in the elements. I know the first year I did it, I wasn’t used to being outside and I mean, you didn’t sleep very well. This is an opportunity for people to come out and experience firsthand what it would be like to be homeless.” Executive Director of Trulight Ministries, Pastor Ed Swartz said.

By gathering sponsors for your night, you’ll be raising awareness and funds to support a crucial cause. The funds raised from “One Night in a Box” will directly support Trulight Ministries and their Empowerment Center for the homeless. This center provides essential resources such as showers, laundry facilities, and other services to help those in need.

“The funds will help support our ongoing ministry here and our Empowerment Center. This is a place where the homeless can come in, they’re able to get showers, they’re able to do laundry, lunch is provided for them by Christ’s Table. We also do a free breakfast every morning, Monday through Friday. It just helps and goes right back into our ministry so that we can continue doing what we’re doing.” Pastor Ed Swarts said.
