Josephine “Josie” Petush

Josephine C. ”Josie” Petush, age 82, of, Zanesville, passed away at 12:55 PM, Sunday, December 24, 2023.

She was born Tuesday, May 13, 1941 in Reno, OH the daughter of Garland D. Randolph and Daisy N. (Hunt) Randolph.

She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Josephine worked in The Dietary Department for Barberton Citizens Hospital for several years. Josie was a member of WOTM (Women of The Moose) for over 30 years. She enjoyed crafting and was a foster grandmother for COAD. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

Josie is survived; four children: Cheryln (Charlie) McKee of Brooksville, PA, Carolyn (Ray) Vincent of Mineral Wells, WV, Kimberly (Brian) Haase of Parkersburg, WV and Mike (Monique) Cameron of Vincent; three step-children: Mike Moore, Denise Moore and Mary Beth Landals all of Barberton; six grandchildren, Jamie Crater, Michael McKee, Breanne Mercer, McKenzie Cameron, Nikolas Cameron, Harper Cameron; One great Granddaughter, Madisyn Riddle and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her longtime companion: Ronald L. “Ron” Moore; by two grandchildren: Zacheriah Vincent and Cassandra Cameron.

Friends may call from 11AM to 1 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, at the funeral home . Burial will conclude in the St. Paul Cemetery Zanesville.
