Juanita F. Mauk (July 17, 1909 – April 11, 2012)

Juanita F. Mauk, 102 of Zanesville Passed away at 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at The Helen Purcell Home.
She was born July 17, 1909 in Cannelville, Ohio the daughter of the late James William Trout and Cora Denny Trout. She was a homemaker, member of First United Methodist Church and very giving and caring to all.
Juanita is survived by her sons, Harold (the late Betty) and Jerry (Donna) Mauk and a daughter Peggy (the late Dr. Donn) Alexander. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Stephen (Sharon) Mauk, Eric Mauk, Sharon Eldredge, Susan (Wayne) Stokes, Laura Alexander and Donn (Amy) Alexander, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Byron E. “Barney†Mauk, who she married November 20, 1930 and passed away April 21, 1992.
The family wishes to acknowledge the caring staff and many friends Juanita had at the Helen Purcell Home over the last 18 years.
The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME 2318 Maple Ave. where friends may call from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM on Monday, April 16, 2012 With Rev. John Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
