Judy Lyons (September 6, 1939 – December 31, 2011)

Zanesville-
Judy Lyons, 72 of Zanesville went to be with her Lord, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 1:25 P.M. at Morrison House in Zanesville, Oh. She was born September 5, 1939 the daughter of H.D. “Butch” and Louella Fox Walters. She was a long time resident of Cumberland, Ohio and worked as a Nurse Tech for New Concord Nursing Home and Beckett House of New Concord for 21 years. She was a member of Cumberland United Methodist Church and attended Coburn United Methodist Church for the past 3 ½ years. She was a member of the Imheiser-Butler Women’s Circle of Coburn United Methodist Church.
Judy is survived by her husband, Bob, of 46 years and three sons: Mike (Tina) of Ironton, Oh., Paul (Diane) of South Charleston, OH. and Mark (Lisa) of Independence, OH.; three sisters, Ruth Janson, Tucson, AZ., Betty (Jim) Peters Byesville, OH. and Emma Woodie of Coshocton, OH.; two brothers: Dick Martin of Zanesville, OH. and Herby (Joyce) Walters of Tucson, AZ., brother-in-law Herb Miller of Thornville, OH., four grandchildren: George (Chasity) Suttles of Grayson, KY., Molly Suttles of Ironton, OH, Miranda Lyons of Independence, OH. and Andrew Lyons of South Charleston, OH., one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Suttles of Grayson, KY. and several nephews and two nieces, several cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and three brothers-in-law.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Jan. 5 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be at Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 Maple Ave., Zanesville at 11 A.M. Friday, Jan. 6 with calling hours one hour prior to the service. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Dennis Baker, the Rev. Doris Flynn and the Rev. Keith Taylor.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her name to the Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 N. Maple Ave., Zanesville, OH. 43701.
