Judy Perry, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on February 14, 1947, in Zanesville, Ohio, and was a lifelong resident of Roseville. Judy is survived by the love of her life, her devoted husband of 57 years, John Perry, daughters Jackie (Robbie) Farnsworth and Julie Russell, brother Jimmy Hartley, three beloved grandchildren Carmin Farnsworth, Cooper Russell, and Cyle Farnsworth, her special dog Boogie, and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Hartley and Bernadine (Bill) Dollings and her brother Danny Hartley. She dedicated 18 years of her life to the students and families of Franklin Local School District, working first as an instructional aide with students with disabilities and later in the library at Roseville Elementary School where she shared her love of books and made reading fun. Her commitment to her students and her work family left a lasting impact. Judy’s friends and family have always cherished her unwavering loyalty and her deeply caring soul. She was the life of the party, always wore a smile and would drop everything to offer a helping hand or a word of encouragement. Her sweet, kind and generous nature touched the lives of many. Calling hours will be held at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage on Friday February 21, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor and remember the beautiful life Judy lived. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
