Junction City Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

A Junction City man is dead after a motorcycle crash. It happened Thursday night around 8:30 on State Route 37 in Perry County. The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says 42-year-old Martin Reedy was riding his cycle east on 37 when he crested a hill at Flagdale road and struck a Minivan. 32-year-old Ricky Leach, also of Junction City was sitting stationary waiting to make a right turn onto Flagdale from State Route 37 when the accident occurred. The Patrol says Reedy was not wearing a helmet. He died of his injuries at Fairfield Medical Center. The accident remains under investigation.
