June Liston

June Rae Liston, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, while in the compassionate care of the Willow Haven Care Center.
Born on December 12, 1952, in Marietta, Ohio, June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She had a gift for making a house feel like a home and found happiness in the simple moments spent with those she loved most.
June was known for her warm and caring nature. She never met a conversation she didn’t enjoy and loved spending hours talking on the phone with family and friends, keeping close connections with those she cared about. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every opportunity to gather with them, share stories, laughter, and create lasting memories. She also had a special affection for her beloved cats, whose companionship brought her great comfort and joy throughout her life.
June leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory, including her daughter, Lora Winegar; her son, Jerry (Christine) Liston; and her beloved grandchildren, Mariah, Draya, Trey, and John. Her love, guidance, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain a lasting source of comfort and inspiration.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, John Liston; her son-in-law, John Winegar; and her siblings.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the love she shared, and the home she built in the hearts of those around her will endure for generations to come.
A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY.
