June Sklenar
June Ann (Scholik) Sklenar, 95, of Lore City, passed away Tuesday (April 21, 2026) at AlterCare of Cambridge.
She was born May 15, 1930 in Lore City, daughter of the late Louis Scholik and Marie (Brown) Scholik. June was a 1948 graduate of Lore City High School. On July 16, 1955 she married Victor Sklenar.
She retired in 1991 from the former Champion Spark Plug after twenty-five years of service.
June was a member of the Lore City Methodist Church.
June found great joy in painting, expressing her creativity throughout her life. She also cherished staying connected with her family and friends, always making time for phone calls, visits, and heartfelt conversations. Her kindness and generosity will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Victor Sklenar; three brothers, Louis, John “Rich”, and David; and her sister, Dorothy.
June is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Scholik of Lore City; and several nieces & nephews.
No calling hours will be observed.
Graveside services and burial will be held at Senecaville Cemetery on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Devani Roe officiating.
