Juvenile killed in accident

COSHOCTON COUNTY, OHIO- A juvenile has died as a result of an accident Wednesday morning.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said just before 7AM they received a 911 call in reference to an accident involving a motor vehicle and a bicycle near 30443 State Route 643.
The Sheriff’s Office said 14-year-old Robert Yoder of Fresno was riding his bicycle in the south bound lane, around a corner when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Caleb J. Mason of Sugarcreek traveling south, came around the corner and struck Yoder from behind.
Yoder wasn’t wearing any reflective clothing or safety equipment and was flown to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus where he later died from his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
