Kathleen “Kathy” Johnson (Fuhrman), 78, passed away on March 22, 2026. Kathy was known for her strong will, unwavering grit, and sharp wit that could catch you off guard in the best possible way. She lived life on her own terms, with resilience and authenticity, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. While her smile and laughter were never given lightly, they were truly contagious and unforgettable when shared. She had a deep love for animals throughout her life, caring for many dogs including her Husky Greisha, many German Shepherds including Pup and Toka, her beloved horses Moose, Whisper and Ayla and countless cats who all held a special place in her heart. Kathy was generous with her advice regarding animal care and was a thoughtful resource to many. Kathy is survived by her brothers, Dewey Johnson, Stephen “Fuzzy” Johnson (Vicki), and Craig Fuhrman; her sister, Jane Cavarozzi (Kara Tripp) her children, Randy Huddy (Erica), John Huddy, Lisa Salvatore (Kevin), Laura Burkhardt, and Brett Alspach; her grandchildren, Samuel Cole Huddy, Katy Schwartz (Nathan), Dylan Scott, Dustin Zadel, Samantha Salvatore, Nicholas Meredith, Tyler Meredith, Tanner Chambers, Ashey and Nicholas Alspach; and her great-grandchild, Zane Parker, Myles Hendrix Scott and Phinehas Ezekiel Schwartz, Max Zadel, Xander Meredith, and Riley Meredith; niece Shannon (Hexter) Villanova, great nephew Vinicious Villanova. She was preceded in death by her mother, Constance Cavarozzi (Joseph), father Harry Fuhrman, her sister Karen Johnson Hexter (Robert Hexter), sister-in-law Alice Johnson, brother Rick Fuhrman and her uncle, Lloyd “Cliff” Sampsel Jr. and her work “son” Cory whom she adored. Kathy had a bite to her words and a warmth to her soul—a combination that made her truly one of a kind. She could give you a hard time and make you laugh in the same breath, and there will never be another like her. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 beginning at 4pm at 82 High Street Suite 200, Glouster, Ohio 45732.
