Kathleen “Kathy” McCormick

Kathleen “Kathy” McCormick, 75, of South Zanesville, went on to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 12, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on September 5, 1949 a daughter of the late Walter and Wilma West. She was a member of the Refuge Church, which was originally Southside Baptist Church, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her dog Daisy, loved her home, and had strong faith in God. She is survived by her husband Jim McCormick. One daughter Lora Lynn (Bill) Rexroad. One son Brian (Jenn) McCormick. Grandchildren Emily Rexroad, Breahna Rexroad, Andrew Taylor, and Cameron McCormick. One brother Ken West. One sister Chris Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Larry Hettick and Bill Hettick. Two step-sisters Virginia Epperson and Dorothy Derr. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday February 17, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday February 18, 2025 at the Refuge Church 1604 Pine St. Zanesville with calling from 10:00-11:00 A.M. with Steve Looker and Jonathan Paugh officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
