Kathrina “Kathy” R. Scheck

Kathrina “Kathy” R. Scheck, 52 of Zanesville, died 10:11 AM, Monday, October 5, 2020, at Genesis Hospital while under the care of Genesis Hospice. She was born Sunday, July 25, 1968 in Smyrna, TN the daughter of Ronald Bishop and Rita (Vonlinger) Bishop. She married Douglas “Doug” Scheck on Saturday, June 10, 1989, and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Kathy loved to crochet and enjoyed other creative pursuits and was a huge animal lover.

In addition to her husband: Doug, Kathy is survived by her parents: Ronald and Rita Bishop; one sister: Leah Bishop of Pataskala; one nephew: David and Anna Boone of Reynoldsburg; several brothers and sisters-in-law: Richard and Linda Scheck, Russel Scheck, Kenneth and Sandy Scheck, Kathy Slusser, Tom Scheck, Becky Williams and Rebecca.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law: Everett and Mary Evelyn Scheck and three brothers- in- law: Jeffrey Slusser, Timothy O’Flyn and Rodger Scheck.

Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 South Seventh Street, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating.
