Kenneth “Kenny” E. Bonar, age 74, of Pleasant City, passed away Tuesday (February 10, 2026) at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 21, 1951 in Akron, son of the late William E. Bonar and Lela S. (Pile) Bonar.

Kenny was a 1970 graduate of Caldwell High School. He retired from Mahle in Caldwell.

He was a member of the Stop 9 Church of Christ in Byesville.

Kenny enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, woodworking, gardening, camping, but mostly spending time with family.

He lived by his favorite saying: “Every day’s a good day. Some are just better than others”.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Charles (Edith) Bonar, John Bonar, Robert (Peggy) Bonar, and Ray Bonar; his sister, Karen Mitchell; and his father-in-law, George Warner.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Audrey (Warner) Bonar, who he married on October 10, 1970; his son, Darren (Julie) Bonar; his grandchildren: Caden (Leigh) Bonar, Nathan (Hailey) Bonar, and Katelyn Bonar; his great-grandchildren: Henry, Colson, Lucy, Everleigh, and Alaina; his sisters-in-law, Kay Bonar and Ruth Bonar; his mother-in-law, Audrey Betty Warner; and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday (February 14, 2026) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with his brother-in-law, George Warner, officiating.

Burial will be at a later date.

Kenny dearly loved children, so in lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Stop 9 Church of Christ Youth Group (60330 Southgate Road, Byesville OH 43723).
