Kenneth “Pete” Edgar Denny, 84 of Zanesville died at 4:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Cedar Hill Nursing Home under hospice care.
He was born March 18, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Robert Denny and Sally Melvin Denny.
Pete attended Sonora United Methodist Church, and was employed at Anchor Glass Container (Zanesville Mould). He liked to hunt, fish and work in his garden. Pete made his famous, Denny’s Hot Mustard and Sauerkraut, and also was a Golden Glove Boxer back in his days and would still mention it all the time.
He is survived by a daughter Rhonda (Mark) Hayes; a son Eric (Kristi) Denny; grandsons, Hayden (Tory) Hayes, Harrison Hayes, Koy Denny and Kale Denny; a sister, Linda Skeens and a brother Mike Denny. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Judith “Judi” Frankanne Lunn Denny and a brother, Ernie Denny.
No public visitation to be observed. A private graveside service at St. Paul Cemetery will be held later.
