Kenneth “Kenny” R. Jennings (November 19, 1948 – February 28, 2010)

Zanesville—

Kenneth “Kenny” Robert Jennings, 61, of Zanesville passed away Sunday February 28, 2010 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, Morrison House.

Kenny was born in Coshocton on November 19, 1948 to the late Russell “Dave” Ellsworth and Christina Lucille Johnson Jennings Mays. He was employed at United Technologies (Lear) in the maintenance department. Kenny was a member of the Beagle Club. He enjoyed fishing, dog trials and NASCAR.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Hanes Jennings; step son Gary Snelling of Nashport; step daughters Gayla (Dick Kelso) Snelling of Zanesville and Linda (Pat) McMasters of Columbus; Brothers Ralph, Danny, Bill, and Tom Jennings; sisters Evelyn, Iona, Barbara, Phyllis, Helen, Nancy, and Mary; seven grandchildren: Cassie, Fuchsia, Erica, Adam, Whitney, AJ, and Dachsia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step father Sherman Mays, and a brother Don Jennings.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday March 4, 2010 from 11 am to 1 pm at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 West Military Road, Zanesville. The funeral service will also be held on Thursday March 4, 2010 at 1pm at the funeral home with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in The Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
