Kids’ Day Out at the Muskingum Recreation Center

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- December is a busy time of year for most parents, so the Muskingum Recreation Center is doing something to help the parent always on the run.

On Saturday, December 16th from 3 to 8 P.M., parents can drop off their kids at the rec center for Kids’ Day Out. Kids that are between 1 and 12 years of age, can be dropped off so the parents can get out to do things like last minute shopping.

“The parents can just enjoy a day out and the kids get to stay at the Muskingum Recreation Center,” said Becky Weir.

The kids will get to have a night of entertainment at M.R.C. There will be activities planned throughout the five hours.

“We’ll have games, crafts, food, we’ll probably do pizza and some healthy snacks too and just have a great time while their parents are either finishing up some last minute shopping or wrapping or maybe they just need a break too,” said Weir.

You don’t need to be a member of M.R.C. to take part in Kids’ Day Out. The cost is $15 for 1 child, $25 for two, $35 for three and $10 for four or more kids.
