Kidzville 2 Rebuild project needs volunteers

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – There are 19 days left until construction begins for the Kidzville 2 Rebuild project, and coordinators are still in need of volunteers.

The rebuild project is set to begin May 31st. The shifts are 8 a.m to noon, 12:30 to 5 p.m., and 5:30 until dark.

Lisa Hittle, the Kidzville PR Coordinator, tells us there are many tasks that the community can help with.

“I know people are saying well I don’t have a construction background, but that’s okay, said Hittle.  You could help with anything from picking up tools, taking tools to the people that need them, screwing things into the plastic, handing out water to the workers, painting, and taking mulch across the playground.”

Hittle said people have been generous to sign up, but they need to do so on the dotted line. Visit coz.org to help make the Kidzville 2 Rebuild project a success.
