Kristine Geis running for State Representative

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – When you mix red and blue together, the result is purple, which is why Kristine Geis chose that color for her campaign.

Geis is running for State Representative for the 97th District and her goal is to bring ‘blue’ Democrats and ‘red’ Republicans together to make a change in the community.

“We need to start working together to make our community better,” said Geis. “It’s all about local issues and if we can’t work together then we’re in a lot of trouble.”

Geis said if she is elected her goal would be to work on getting full time living wage jobs into the area as well as improving education.

“We need to work on education,” said Geis. “I’m a substitute teacher and an instructor at Zane State, and I totally see the problems in the educational funding and understand how to get that changed.”
