Kyler “Hoop” Hooper

Kyler Levi “Hoop” Hooper, 25, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born October 21, 2000, to Kaci (Bird McDonald) Hooper Roberts and Doug (Emily) Roberts. He was a 2019 graduate of Maysville High School, where he played football and track. He was employed as a salesman for Pros D2H. Kyler enjoyed video games, fantasy football, golf, skeet shooting, spending time with his family and friends and had a fierce love for cooking.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters: Karley Roberts and Kristen Elson; brothers: Brandon Roberts, Corey Elson, T.J. McDonald and Braylon McDonald; his grandma Cricket Roberts; great grandma Marilyn Milner; aunt Kara Hooper; uncle Jeremy (Lindsey) Hooper; cousins: Arcadia Miller, Khloe Hooper, Karson Michel, Willow Hooper and Elora Hooper; five nieces; one nephew; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Kristy Hooper; grandfather Hub Roberts; and great grandparents Tom (Pam) Lawrence.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 6PM, Thursday, September 3, 2026, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Service will follow at 6PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor John Alice officiating. Cremation services will be entrusted to THE SNOUFFER CREMATORY. Donations may be made to the funeral home.
