Harper’s late goal lifts Lady Bishops to regional final

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Rosecrans sophomore Kylan Harper buried the game-winning goal with 21:36 remaining to lift the Lady Bishops over Columbus Academy, 2-1, at John D. Sulsberger Stadium Tuesday night.

Rosecrans overcame a one-goal halftime deficit by netting a pair of unanswered goals in the second half. The Lady Bishops will play Lynchburg-Clay in the D-III regional final on Saturday at Logan High School.

In D-II action, the Tri-Valley Lady Dawgs lost a heartbreaker to Beaver, 3-2, at Dover Middle School. Leah Pancake netted the winning goal for the Lady Beavers with 30 seconds remaining. Beaver will meet Granville in the regional final at Zanesville High School on Saturday.
