Lancaster Man Killed in Perry Co. Accident

Perry County- A Lancaster man is killed in a crash in Perry County Thursday afternoon.

It took place around 3:10pm on State Route 37 near Flagdale Road in Jackson Township in Perry County.

The Patrol said 71-year-old William Konkler was driving west on State Route 37 when he crossed the centerline striking 42-year-old Bruce Sanderson, who was driving a semi eastbound.

After contact both vehicles drove off the south edge of the road, striking a guardrail, where they came to rest.

Authorities said Konkler was pronounced deceased at the scene. Sanderson was treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
