Lane closure on SR 37/661 Bridge in Granville

GRANVILLE, Ohio–The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that beginning Friday, July 26, the SR 37/661 bridge over SR 16 in Granville will be restricted to one lane.
Officials said crews will be placing concrete barriers on the bridge between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.. After barriers are placed, traffic will remain in its current pattern on the eastern side of the bridge until further notice.
This is due to the bridge being struck by a tractor trailer on Tuesday, July 23. The bridge has been deemed safe for motorists to travel on the portion of the deck not directly above the damaged beam.
Motorists should use an alternate route to avoid delays
